Getting customers
How do I get clients for my new business?
Start with a target list, not a campaign. Define exactly who you want as a customer — a specific industry, geography, business size, or social-media niche — then build a list of 200 to 1,000 of them with names, emails, phone numbers, and social handles. Reach out one by one with a short personal message; aim for 20 a day. The list-building step is what most founders skip; it's also what separates the businesses that grow from the ones that don't. Lagic delivers that list as a spreadsheet in minutes, so the only thing left to do is the outreach.
How do I get leads for my local business?
Local businesses grow through two engines: people who already know you (referrals, reviews) and people who could but don't (neighbors, nearby decision-makers, recent reviewers of competitors). To grow either, you need a list. Lagic delivers spreadsheets of every business and decision-maker within your area — with phone numbers, emails where public, websites, ratings, and review history — for any category you pick. Most local-business owners go from no list to a 500-row prospect spreadsheet in under five minutes.
How do I find customers for my dental practice, restaurant, law firm, clinic, or salon?
Service businesses fill their books from three audiences: nearby residents who haven't tried you, recent reviewers of competitors who are clearly active in the category, and decision-makers (HR managers, office managers, property managers) who book in bulk. Build a list of each, reach out with one short message. Lagic pulls all three audiences as ready-to-use spreadsheets — names, emails, phones, and websites — for any zip code or city. Pay-as-you-go from $30, no contract.
How do I get more clients for my freelance or agency work?
Cold outbound, when it's targeted, still beats every other channel for freelancers and agencies. The hard part is building the target list — the actual companies and people you want to email. Most freelancers waste hours hunting on LinkedIn and Google. Lagic delivers the list: 200 to 5,000 decision-makers in your exact niche, with verified work emails, phone numbers, and social profiles, in one spreadsheet. Then you send the emails. Most users land their first client within the first 100 outreaches.
How do I get leads for my family business?
Family businesses tend to skip the list-building step and rely on word of mouth — which works until growth stalls. To compound past that ceiling: build a list of every potential customer in your service area (or every business in your B2B category), get their phone numbers and emails, and have one person make 10 to 20 personal outreaches a day. Lagic builds that list for any business category in minutes — restaurants, contractors, dentists, real estate, services, e-commerce — for $30 pay-as-you-go.
What's the fastest way to get my first 100 customers?
Build a target list of 1,000 people who match your ideal customer, then personally reach out to 20 of them per day for 50 days. Use a short, specific message — name them, name what they're doing, offer something concrete. You'll have your first 100 customers somewhere between day 20 and day 50 depending on offer fit. Lagic delivers the 1,000-person list as a spreadsheet (emails, phones, social handles) in minutes; the outreach work is yours.
How do I get clients as a video editor?
Video editors win clients by finding people whose video output is just-good-enough to grow but rough enough to want help. The sweet spot: YouTube channels in the 10K-100K subscriber range that upload weekly, course creators, e-commerce brands posting product videos, and agencies offering social-media services. Build a list of 500 of those, find the owner's email and Instagram handle, then send a 30-second sample edit attached to a short personal pitch. Lagic delivers the list — creators, agency owners, and brands with active video content — as a spreadsheet in minutes. From there it's your edit and your outreach.
How do I get clients for my agency?
Agencies land new business from one of three audiences: businesses already running paid ads (but poorly), businesses that just raised funding (and have new budget), or businesses in industries where you have a case study. Pick the angle you have proof for, then build a list of 500 to 1,000 prospects in that exact slice — company name, decision-maker, work email, phone, LinkedIn — and reach out with a specific observation about what they're doing now. Lagic builds that list for any vertical in minutes. Your bottleneck is the outreach itself, not the prospecting.
How do I get clients for SEO services?
SEO buyers split into two groups: businesses with bad rankings who know it (they're already searching 'SEO agency near me' — small market, very competitive) and businesses with bad rankings who don't know yet (much bigger market, much less competition). To win the second group, pull a list of local businesses in a category, identify the ones ranking poorly for their main keyword, get the owner's email and phone, and send a 3-bullet audit. Lagic delivers the prospect list — businesses by category and geography, with full contact info — so your time goes into the audit and the pitch.

What is Lagic?
Lagic is a lead-data provider. You describe the audience you want — local businesses, social creators, decision-makers in a specific industry, e-commerce sellers, recent reviewers — and Lagic delivers a clean spreadsheet of leads with verified emails, phone numbers, social media usernames, business profiles, and reviews. Used for outbound sales, agency lead-gen, market research, and competitive monitoring.
What does Lagic actually deliver?
A spreadsheet (or webhook payload) of leads. Each row contains the data points relevant to the audience you asked for: email addresses, phone numbers, social usernames, business names and websites, decision-maker contacts, and customer reviews. Output as CSV, or pushed to Discord, Slack, Airtable, Notion, email, or your own webhook.

Do I need coding skills to use Lagic?
No. Every list is configured through a plain-English form in the dashboard. No API keys, no JSON, no terminal. The whole product is browser-based.
How fast can I get my first results?
Most users get their first lead list within 5 minutes of signup. Pick an audience template, fill in the form, hit run, get a spreadsheet.
What sign-in methods are supported?
Email/password or Google OAuth. Both create a free account with 30 credits.

How does Lagic compare to Instantly or Smartlead?
Instantly and Smartlead are sending tools — they handle inboxes, warm-up, and email campaigns once you already have leads. Lagic supplies the leads. The two pair naturally — pull a list with Lagic, plug it into Instantly to send.
Is Lagic better than building your own scraper?
For most non-engineering buyers, yes. Custom data pipelines cost $200 to $2,000 to build plus ongoing maintenance every time a source changes. Lagic delivers the same outputs for cents per record and handles maintenance for you.
Lead types
How do I get emails for cold outreach?
Pick an audience template, run it, get a spreadsheet with email addresses. Lagic has decision-maker email finders (verified work emails by name and domain), local-business email pulls (publicly listed business emails), and social-creator email lists. Average cost is 1 to 2 credits per email.
Can I get phone numbers?
Yes. Lagic delivers phone number lists across local businesses, decision-makers, e-commerce sellers, and verified directory listings — wherever the number is publicly published.

Yes. Lagic delivers customer review datasets — reviewer name, rating, date, content, and where applicable, contact info — useful for reputation work, sentiment analysis, and review-mining product research.
How many leads can I get per month?
Depends on plan and audience. At ~1-2 credits per lead, the Starter plan ($30/month, 4,500 credits) yields 2,250 to 4,500 leads monthly. Growth ($69) yields ~5,000 to 10,000. Scale ($150) yields ~11,000 to 22,000.

Can I export to CSV?
Yes. Every job result can be downloaded as CSV or JSON. CSV exports are sanitized to prevent formula injection.
